All figures are examples only. Replace every default with your own real numbers. The more accurate your inputs, the more useful your result.
Built for direct retail pricing. If you sell wholesale to stockists, your margin calculation will be different. One example could be to price at retail first, then work out your wholesale from there. For example, if your wholesale is 50% and your retail price is $80, your wholesale price would be $40.
Kiln costs vary. Electric and gas kilns have very different running costs. Check your actual electricity or gas bill and divide by the number of pieces in a firing to get your true per-piece cost.
Selling at markets? Set your platform fee to zero. Or enter your market stall fee divided by pieces sold as part of your overhead instead.
Currency. Set your currency symbol below. All calculations work in whatever currency you use. Just be consistent throughout.
